My stay at Xotel surpassed all expectations. The owners' warm hospitality shone through as they graciously allowed early luggage drop-off, setting a delightful tone for our visit. With a seamless check-in process at the convenient outdoor machine, we were quickly immersed in the tranquil surroundings of the German countryside. The charming rooms, though not expansive, were thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, and we were pleasantly surprised by the private patio in Room 3, providing a secluded retreat. The highlight, however, was the enchanting garden behind the hotel, where we savored moments of serenity amidst the lush greenery and comfortable garden furniture, truly embracing sustainable tourism at its finest. The eco-conscious touches, like the honor system for beverages and secure bicycle storage, reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability that deeply resonated with my environmental values. Xotel seamlessly weaves together comfort, sustainability, and nature, creating a remarkable retreat in the heart of Xanten that I wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers seeking an enriching and eco-friendly experience.
